Coastguard Marlborough offers all the courses currently supplied by Coastguard Boating Education Services (CBES) New Zealand and currently offers the following courses: All courses are run by CBES certified tutors.
Free Safe Boating Workshops
In conjunction with Maritime New Zealand and the local Marlborough Harbour Masters office, these award winning free Safe Boating Workshops offer a practical introduction to safe boating. Each course contains a small classroom segment followed by a practical boating component including an on the water trip in either a Coastguard vessel or Harbours patrol craft and also includes a free lunch. These courses can also be tailored to group requirements on the day with an emphasis towards particular boating types i.e. Trailer Boats, Yachts or Power Boats as required.
